Biology and breeding: An aboreal species, it is common on Acacia trees along dry river courses. Gives birth to 3-5 babies.

Habitat: Found in arid savannah

Range: Kimberley and Lower Orange River in northern Cape Province, through Botswana and Namibia to southern Angola
