Charaxes brutus angustus

I would like to thank those who identified it as Charaxes brutus angustus (Rothschild 1900).

Charaxes ansorgei ruandana and Charaxes boueti alticola were also suggested. However, the following comments seem to contradict the suggestions: Char. boueti alticola is a butterfly you only find in bambouforest over 2000m altitude. And the verso is quite different. Char. ansorgei is also a butterfly of high altitude rain forest. Also Ansorgei ruandana has little beige spots included in the white band on the forewing (among other less obvious
differences).
. Most likely is it brutus angustus, a very common butterfly up to 1600m. And the verso is exactly his.
