Salamis temora - Blue salamis
Photographed in the rainforest of Kibale National park, Uganda,  June ´98.
This one possibly a female (larger and duller than the male). Ventral surface rich brown with dark and golden markings and prominent eye-spots.
Habitat:
forests up to 1500m
Range:
from Cameroon and Angola to Zaire, Uganda, Ethiopia, Western Kenya and Tanzania
         Status:
        Common
