This photo is part of Saara's ongoing photo exhibition at Valokuvakeskus Peri, Turku, Finland.
Thematically, the exhibition looks at how certain Finnish words have lost their historical meanings and taken on completely new ones, most often with the concrete denotation having given way to a more abstract one.
"Aito", it appears then, is a more than fitting name for the above photograph, as both the now archaic and present meanings certainly apply.
The exhibition will be open 7 October - 5 November, 2006.
